An exercise in scene setting for fiction writers today.
The words you use in your writing are invaluable in allowing the reader to journey along with the characters you write about. Choose them well and anyone reading can be transported to another world and experience life along with the people in your novel.
Today, your challenge is to write a scene were you have two characters in the jungle. What are they doing there, but more importantly for the exercise, spend your time setting the scene. Use all of your senses. Bring the jungle to life for your reader.
For a further challenge, turn the clock 12 hours. If your original piece is in daylight, make it dark - and vice versa. How does this change the sensory perception of the jungle.
