Your protagonist is returning from a stressful New Year’s Eve at work, and as they drive home considers whether to go to a party as arranged that evening or not. At a red light, a driver in another car stops too late behind your protag and ends up bumping the back of his/her car. Both parties get out of their vehicles to survey the damage, at which point your protag realises the other driver has been drinking. Write the scene as it unfolds to you.
