Write a scene where your main character goes to a fun fair or theme park. Where would he/she go? Would they have a good time or not? What rides (if any) would they prefer to go on? Who would they be most likely to go with?
For something more difficult, take the cotton candy away from the scene and see if you can turn it into a little more sinister!
