Write a short scene where a character prepares to leave on vacation.  She/He (your choice) will be going overseas for two weeks (the reason for the trip is up to you).  Other information you need to know is that they work full-time at a local community medical center, they have two cats and work in a volunteer capacity delivering groceries to a mobility impaired neighbor.  Your scene should be in third person point of view and it should cover everything that someone with those responsibilities would have to make arrangements for during a two-week absence.  Having read through your scene, do you think you covered everything that the character needs to do in preparation for the trip?
