Will You Choose Fiction or Not Today?
Today’s exercise for fiction writers is to write the dialogue for the following:
Your protagonist comes out of her front door to find her neighbor has cleared snow from their driveway and dropped much of it onto hers. Later that day she bumps into the neighbor at the grocery store. Write the conversation that follows as she confronts the neighbor about the snow.
If you’re a non-fiction writer, write a letter as if to the local newspaper, complaining about inconsiderate neighbors (you aren’t bound by the snow scenario, you can choose anything including litter, noise, etc).
