A weave-a-word challenge for you this morning.

Your exercise today is to incorporate all of the following words into an article, short story, poem or whatever comes to mind. You must use all of the words (in any order) to complete the exercise, but the context in which they are used is up to you. Think about the words for a few minutes before you start to write and see what pictures come to mind - then see if you can weave them all together into a piece of writing.

Today, begin a piece of fiction writing with the following:
I was where I’d always wanted to be. Invisible. A fly on the wall in our home so to speak. Watching the interaction of the others as they discussed my life and how I’d affected theirs. I could no longer defend my actions and opinions. I had only to listen to how they had been interpreted by those I loved. Jason was talking now. My first born. The child on which I cut my mother-teeth and who I showered with such love and dreams. The confident familiar ring of his voice caressed my heart as he ………
