It’s New Years Eve in your novel/story, and your protagonist has been invited to a party. Decide the kind of event and dress her/him accordingly. As they enter the room in which the party is being held, the first person they see is the antagonist of your novel/story - write the scene that follows.

2004 draws to a close.

Are you a minimalist with perhaps a few touches of nature, or do you go all the way and have every window twinkling and the garden aglow with lit up reindeer and snowmen? Write a "snapshot" of how your home is dressed this Holiday season.
