Put yourself back in time this morning.

Think of your usual daily routine, write a list of the things you do in an "average" day. Then write an essay of your life, doing this routine, 50 years ago. How would it differ from today? Could you do as much? Or do you think you would have accomplished far more then?

Your protagonist is returning from a stressful New Year’s Eve at work, and as they drive home considers whether to go to a party as arranged that evening or not. At a red light, a driver in another car stops too late behind your protag and ends up bumping the back of his/her car. Both parties get out of their vehicles to survey the damage, at which point your protag realises the other driver has been drinking. Write the scene as it unfolds to you.
