On writing assignments, we often have guidelines provided by editors. Are you able to follow guidelines? Write whatever comes into your mind when you see these guidelines, and you don’t have to use the actual words in the piece at all, just make sure that whatever you write clearly fits the following framework:
What would you like to lose? Describe it and write about why you want to lose it.
Use any of the following as the first line of a piece of fiction or non-fiction, then continue writing and see where it goes from there!
Pick up any object within your reach from where you’re sitting and describe it by sense. Try to include all of the senses if possible.
Today’s weave-a-word challenge is to create a short story fiction or non-fictional using the words provided. You can use the words in any order, but you must use them all!
Write a scene that shows a policeman at work in any capacity. It can be a non-fictional account of something you’ve seen, or a fictional account of a character being questioned by the police for speeding for example. The choice of scenario is yours.
Sell your home to a buyer in 100 words or less! No abbreviations! Write an ad that will appeal to anyone looking for a house similar to your own.
Choose one of the following to start a piece of fiction or non-fiction.
Weave a Word Challenge - write what you will, the only rule is that you must use all of the words. You can use them in any order.
