Description is at the heart of fiction writing, and can often evoke more emotion in non-fiction pieces where this is called for.  Today’s exercise is to work out those description creating muscles!

Laws are toughening up to restrict the movements of pedofiles from some nations.   Write an opinionated essay outlining what the system is where you live, whether or not you think this is enough to keep the children of the area safe at least from known pedators, and if not, what else you think should be done.

What do you believe in so strongly that you’d defend your opinion no matter what the opposition was?  Do you have any beliefs you’d be willing to lose your job over, or go to prison to defend?  Write an essay describing your major belief passions - if you don’t have any, write about how you feel about people who are willing to become martyrs for what they believe.
