A dialogue exercise this morning

Dialogue writing is one of the writing skills that many fiction writers grapple with.  Write out your response to the exercise and then read it back aloud and see if it flows as a natural conversation or stilted.  If it’s stilted, take a look at the places where it doesn’t flow and see if you can correct it.
