Think about the bathroom (main) in your home.  Write out a description of how that bathroom would look if it could be exactly the way you wanted it.  The restrictions are the size and shape of the room - you have to use what’s already there.  Can you build an image of how your dream bathroom with words?

What makes you feel uneasy?  Have you ever been in a situation where you felt insecure or anxious?  Write a journal entry about what makes you uneasy and any experiences you’ve had of feeling that way.  Alternatively, write a scene for a novel where the main character feels uneasy about a situation or location they’re in - describe the location so that the reasons for the anxiety are obvious to the reader.

Use any of the following to begin a piece of fiction or non-fiction:

• A damp mist hung to the sand on ………
• Whenever that distinctive scent of ………
• The woman at the podium stood still, smiling, soaking in the energy, then ………
