An exercise in description today.

Think about the bathroom (main) in your home.  Write out a description of how that bathroom would look if it could be exactly the way you wanted it.  The restrictions are the size and shape of the room - you have to use what’s already there.  Can you build an image of how your dream bathroom with words?

Are you feeling uneasy?

What makes you feel uneasy?  Have you ever been in a situation where you felt insecure or anxious?  Write a journal entry about what makes you uneasy and any experiences you’ve had of feeling that way.  Alternatively, write a scene for a novel where the main character feels uneasy about a situation or location they’re in - describe the location so that the reasons for the anxiety are obvious to the reader.

John McCain sits down in a diner to order breakfast and realizes that across the aisle in another booth is Barrack Obama.  There’s no-one else around except a waitress cleaning tables who stops only long enough to hand McCain a menu.  He smiles his thank you, then turns to look across at Obama  who says:
