Summarize your life story today

“You!  The Movie” is opening at a nearby movie theater next week.  Write a 200-300 word summary to capture the attention of moviegoers.  For example, what’s the plot?   Who are the actors playing the main roles?  Is there a teaser that will ignite curiousity or gossip?  You know the story, see if you can make it exciting enough for others to want to watch!

Whether you write fiction or non-fiction the skill of descriptive writing can bring your scene or article to life.  Today I want you to close your eyes and imagine a vase full of daffodils.  Now write down a descriptive paragraph so that by reading it someone else would see the same image as you did.
